Should I hire an attorney now to help me with it, or just leave it like that. Since the interview is more focused on my marriage.
I’m desperate I don’t know what to do.
You are not desperate, a mistake can be done and in the interview you can mention it have your paperwork with you. There is nothing wrong to make a mistake with good intention and explain it. I know someone, her husband applied for her greencard years ago and she had no idea. When she went to interview through her child, the officer said you lied on your application and she basically said my husband didnt inform me about it and that was it, she was approved on the spot. I would suggest to go through interview experinces posted here and prepare with your spouse. All will be good. You were lucky to find the right person and start to create a life together.

Thats suspicious... if i were an immigration officer, people who come to the country and are married within a year- they are suspicious to me big time! Come on.. we all know, how long it takes to meet someone and even get to a point to talk about a wedding! I dont know... arent they looking at sudden, quick marriages as red flags?
Do we all know? Cause I had several long-term relationships (years) in my adult life that didn't really get to that point seriously (most non-USCs). But when I met my now husband, it took me all of zero time to know I wanted to marry him, and we were married within like 4 months of meeting each other.

Good thing you're not an immigration officer, jeez. Let people live, each relationship is unique.

You'll have a chance to address any mistakes at your interview. Minor amendments shouldn't be an issue because what they're looking for is for you to be honest. If you want reassurance just get the opinion of a lawyer but make sure they are a reputable one (in other words don't go for a big name because they're on the commercials or billboards).

For now just focus on building up your evidence of a bonafide marriage to take to your interview. You will have PLENTY of time to get the answer to your question through the proper channels.
